Emmy is currently a student at Lee university in Cleveland Tennessee. She studied classical piano for the last 14 years and was apart of her high school praise band team. Emmy is especially thankful for the opportunity to accompany at LVPC where she is happy to finally be using her gifts in a church setting as a means of worshipping God. 

Children's Minister

Erin serves as our Children's Minister!  A 2015 graduate of Bryan College, Erin works as a 3rd Grade teacher in Hamilton County.  Erin brings passion for Christ and love for kids to the ministry.  She will love getting to know your child, and helping your child become one who truly loves God, loves others, and serves the world.

A brief interview with Erin:

What is your Favorite Scripture?

John 10:10 “The devil has come to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come so they may have life and have it to the full.” This scripture was impactful when I first learned who God really was and now it still continues to help me learn that God is over everything in our life, even within the pain and the doubts.


What if your favorite book?

"God is Able" by Priscila Shirer

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen” Ephesians 3:20-21


Who has had the most profound impact on your life (other than Jesus)?


My Young Life leader, Emily Grace Liner. She helped me understand the real attributes of God and she still continues to be a mentor in my life.


What drives you to be the person you are?

Seeing God in all of the little moments in my life. Whether it be in a child’s face that lights up with joy or through a friend encouraging words. God is everywhere.


What is your biggest passion in life?

Getting to know God more, and through Him educating students, and portraying his actions and words to everyone I interact with.


Who are your favorite worship artists?

It really is a never ending list because worship music is like a love language of mine but here are a few. Several of them are very small artists so if you not heard of them, check them out! Director of Music Ministries


When he's not directing LVPC's great chancel choir, Chris is either busy with his beautiful family or at work at Giant Steps Music.  Chris is a highly skilled choir director, vocalist, and trombonist as well. Under Chris's great leadership, the LVPC Chancel Choir continues to grow in both numbers and ability. Choir rehearsals are on Sunday nights at 5:00 (check the web-calendar for specific dates). Come to choir and be a part of something great!

Nursery Worker


 Amanda, a CNA with Hospice of Chattanooga throughout the week, faithfully serves as our Nursery & Pre-School Worker on Sunday mornings during Sunday School and worship. Amanda has a deep love for Jesus and for children which make her a great blessing to LVPC.

Administrative Assistant & Bookkeeper


Janet is a CPA who is now serving LVPC as bookkeeper and administrative assistant.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, especially travelling.

Grady and his wife, Becky, are the proud parents of two young adult daughters, Hannah and Lydia.  Grady's "life verse" is Habakkuk 2:14, "The Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."  In his pastoral ministry, Grady strives to shine the knowledge of God's glory throughout Lookout Valley and beyond.

LOST (every episode made perfect sense to me)

Other than the Bible, what is your favorite book?  

Tough call!  At the top of my list I would place Graham Greene's The Power and the Glory (fiction), Martyn Lloyd-Jones' Preaching and Preachers (non-fiction), and Watchman Nee's Spiritual Authority (also non-fiction).

 What are your primary spiritual gifts? 

My primary ministry gift is teaching. But I jokingly say that I have the spiritual gift of "plodding": keeping up a long obedience to Christ in a single direction.   

Who has had the most profound influence on your life (besides Jesus)?
My Mom & Dad

What drives you to be the person you are?
The grace of Jesus Christ.  "I am what I am by the grace of God" (1 Corinthians 15:10)

If you could spend an entire day with any one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Paul the Apostle, but preferably not his 24 hours in the open sea (2 Corinthians 11:25). 

What issue in the world today is closest to your heart?
If I could mention two:  Muslim missions, and the plight of the persecuted Church. 

If you could say one thing to the Body of Christ, what would it be?
Let's resolve to be a people not easily offended!  And let's pray together more.  God has blessings to pour out on the Church across our city, state, nation, and world, which He will only send when we become intentional about getting together to pray across denominational lines.
