Today at LVPC, we welcome Marlene Ssebulime, Executive Director of Raise the Roof Academy, based in Nashville.

"In November 2005, David and Marlene Ssebulime launched the first campaign dubbed “Raise the Roof” and after 7 months of hosting various fundraisers, and offering many prayers, embarked on a journey to the Ugandan village of Lusaka to present the funds for the first roof.
"At Raise the Roof Academy, we’re committed to holistic development in rural Uganda. We focus on education, health (on campus and in the community), income generation, and collaboration with local leaders. Our goal is lasting, region-wide progress, not just temporary assistance."
LVPC has supported Raise the Roof Academy for many years.
